Hattie Barnes Design - Manifesto Brief

I created my design manifesto as a response to a university module in which I was required to articulate my practice, and the theories and ideas that influence my work (and who I am!)

The manifesto, although powerful in its influence of explaining who I am, is designed primarily as a tool for me - for a quick glance reminder of who I am and how I work.

I used the colours of my branding and used a combination of both analogue and digital techniques to depict who I am visually, as well as my values and principles.

The manifesto includes both explicit and implicit semiotics and messaging, ranging from the reminder to 'ask more questions', to the need for appreciating nature and being mindful of the environment at all times.
